In a news story on August 26th edition of PA2010.com (www.pa2010.com/2010/08/gop-poll-memo-claims-7-point-edge-for-fitzpatrick/), columnist Dan Hirshhorn wrote about the Poll released yesterday from NEIL NEWHOUSE, PUBLIC OPINION STRATEGIES.
According to the poll that we saw:
“Fitzpatrick opens the fall campaign with a seven-point lead over Patrick Murphy.”
and
“Fitzpatrick also has a significant image advantage over Murphy.”
and
“The political environment here has a strong GOP tilt.”
Summing up:
“With an enduring favorable image in the district and the political winds at his back, Mike Fitzpatrick is well-positioned to retake his former seat on November 2nd.”
Looks like a majority of the people already like Mike. But we knew that!!
Just don’t get complacent, the real mud has yet to be slung and his opponent has lots of funds (from where?) to create more mud than you would think possible.
