Welcome

Tell Everyone Why You Like Mike!

Michael G. (Mike) Fitzpatrick, our Congressman from Bucks County Pennsylvania, has run and reclaimed his seat in The Eighth Pennsylvania US Congressional District.

Mike was first elected in 2004 and served for two years before being very  narrowly defeated in 2006 during the Obama anti-war sweep. He was unable to run in 2008 due to health issues, but came back in 2011, after reclaiming his seat in the General Election of November 2, 2010.

This site is for his friends and fans to express why they like Mike, his character, beliefs, service and more. We started it during his run to get the seat back and intend to keep it active to continue to remind people “Why We Like Mike”.

Tell your story here (CLICK HERE)! You may remain anonymous, if you wish, or add your name to his huge list of fans.

We reserve the right to review and edit all submissions and to not publish any that we believe are negative. Mike’s a great guy and we want to put a positive ring to his support structure with stories, views and anecdotes about him from people who know him, have been influenced by him or just admire him and  his past performance as a County Commissioner or Congressman.

Perhaps in this way, more people can come to know and understand Mike and what a wonderful Congressman he has been as a representative of all the citizens of Bucks County Pennsylvania and the other areas  he represents in Montgomery & Philadelphia Counties.

The thing so many love about Fitz is that he truly tries his best to help all those who ask, regardless of their status or standing in life.

Plus, it is obvious that Fitz truly loves life in Bucks County and the entire 8th district. He is always on a mission to make the communities better and to keep the charm that makes this beautiful historic area so exceptional.

Rob and I have come to know Mike personally and as a Congressman. He has our respect and admiration. Not only his he an honest man, but he speaks from the heart (no teleprompter). We have had the privilege of being in Washington, DC when Mike was sworn in (He and Pete Sessions were right in front of us in the room, at the Capitol, where the 8th Congressional District constituents were celebrating his victory). It was a wonderful moment for both of us. He has made himself available to see us several times in DC. His Chief of Staff and Legislative Director are always rapid in their reply to our questions. Mike’s staff, in Newtown and Washington, are helpful and a pleasure to work with. We have been fortunate to have Mike speak in front of our group (Philadelphia Tea Party Patriots-Lower Bucks) several times, and we look forward to him coming on September 1. He is doing a good job as our Congressman. I know his schedule is jam packed, and I sure hope he has “downtime” to spend with his family. Thanks, Mike – we appreciate all that you do!
